An outdoor concert
Last Thursday, I headed to Frederick Meijer Gardens with some friends to see one of my favorite bands, The Head and the Heart. It was the perfect night and temperature for an outdoor concert. We found a spot on the grass, munched on snacks and enjoyed a great show. Frederick Meijer Gardens has an entire summer concert series, and it's such a beautiful setting for a show.
Since I knew we'd be sitting down on the grass, I went for a long, comfortable maxi dress. Plus, I thought if we're headed to the gardens for the concert, I'd wear florals! I feel like maxi dresses are just a staple for outdoor concerts and music festivals. I also saw another girl wearing black jeans, brown flats and a peach top with a top knot and I loved her outfit and hope to replicate it soon. It sounds so simple, but she looked amazing!
If you haven't checked out The Head and the Heart, I'd totally recommend their music. They are an indie folk-pop band from Seattle. I started listening to them last winter and fell in love. As soon as I saw they were coming to Grand Rapids, I bought tickets immediately. Not only is their music great, they put on an amazing live show. Plus, the new songs I heard were so good. I can't wait to hear their new album.
