Pumpkin picking

On the one nice day we've had this autumn (ahem), Eric, Winny and I headed out to the farm market to pick out pumpkins, caramel apples, cider donuts, apple cider and pie pumpkins. This is my favorite place to go every year. I love how they stack the pumpkins, their caramel apples are the best and it's nice to head back to the west side for a little while! The drive out there was insanely gorgeous. The sun was just perfect and golden and the colors were beautiful. I wish every day this month was like this!

This was such a fun day with Winny. We try to wear her out as much as we can during the day, because otherwise at night, she's a terror! So we let her go nuts in a field and help us pick out the best pumpkins. My friend, Lisa, runs a really cute Etsy shop for dogs called Mike Loves Mommy. She has really cute bandanas, bow-ties and rosettes. I requested a chevron bandana for Winny and I love how it turned out. If you have a pup, head over there and check out some of her items! She has the exact chevron one up for sale that Winny has on.

I felt like an actual walking pumpkin in this outfit. I think perhaps I'm taking the "match your surroundings" idea too far? Haha! This is my third styling of my Minnetonka Moccasins. I was just featured in a Blogger Spotlight over on their blog, so be sure to head over and check out all three styles along with a quick interview and what song I have on repeat! I have a couple more fun autumn posts planned for this week... and then I'm moving onto something spooky. If you haven't been around for a while, you're in for a treat! ;)
