Flowering trees

We're in bloom! I always dream and wait for this time of year. Eric and I headed to one of my favorite spots to take photos... and it's so pretty right now. I've been thinking a lot about how much I love living in Michigan. I just booked a long weekend trip to Pictured Rocks in July, and it's all I can think about lately. Lighthouse hopping, taking a ferry over to a desolate island to explore, hiking trails to see amazing rock formations and waterfalls, and taking a sunset cruise through Lake Superior. I mean, to me, that's perfect. We have so many fun things to look forward to this summer. It's going to be a good one. In other news, I signed up for a 15K at the end of June, so I'll be working hard toward that goal. I kind of can't believe I'm going to run 9.3 miles, but I needed this extra challenge to get me through another goal I have before my 28th birthday. So let's just see if we can do this. ;)
