Just a quick post… with an outfit I wore to Big Bay! I just felt like getting out of the house, and I love a tradition of “Fish Fry Fridays” so I was like… I’ll take a drive to Big Bay, see what photo opps are along the way (always excited to spot a log stack!), golden hour at the beach, and then go to Thunder Bay Inn for fish fry!
Read MoreBefore COVID season hit, I at least made it up to Sugarloaf to watch the sunset. It was such a pretty walk too, quite a few people out. I was the only one at the top for a while until it was right at peak sunset and all of a sudden, it got busy! But yeah, a worthy hike in all seasons.

Blink and you’ll miss it, but it has this cute historic railroad station… and these train-cars filled with logs!

It’s a super quick and easy drive from downtown Marquette (about 14 minutes) and only 7 minutes from our local Target, haha!
