Whimsical flats

Yay for spring! The sun is shining. These mild temps are perfect! I’m so thrilled to be able to put away my winter boots and bring out some cute flats! Especially these adorable Arche metallic Lilly flats from Zappos! I received them recently, and I’m loving the fun material and the whimsical cutout detail. Plus, they are so incredibly comfortable. I could walk for hours and hours in these! Definitely perfect shoes for spring… and to bring right into summer!

These flats came at the perfect time too… right as spring hit! I was literally wearing my winter boots up until last week, so these were a welcome sight. Plus, finding a pair of comfortable (yet cute!) flats is a game changer. Especially for being more active in the warmer seasons – riding bikes, taking Winny for a walk, or heading to the farmer’s market! I’m so excited to do all of those things now that spring is finally here!

I styled my flats with my favorite summer jeans, a cute floral print top with subtle bell sleeves, and a pair of indigo sunnies! The metallic flats will go with so many things in my wardrobe though – white, black, different colors. Plus it’s a fun little element I don’t have a lot of in my wardrobe! So these are perfect to mix it up a little bit!

What are you looking forward to mostly this spring? I’m just head over heels for the month of May. It’s the best spring month here in Michigan. I can’t wait to head to the tulip fields in Holland and explore. It’s one of my favorite traditions every year! Plus, it’s fun to grab a yummy dinner downtown and do a little shopping as well!
