Hi friends! Happy November. It’s been a minute since I popped in here! I feel like the end of October just flew… but I’m nicely settling into the slow vibes of November. I’m definitely here for the calm before the storm of the holidays, that’s for sure! So I wore this outfit out to a dinner at Maru. What do you guys think about oversized blazers? I found this one at our local Salvation Army and I love it, but it’s also slightly ridiculous. I think maybe the shoulder pads need to go. 😂 But not sure. We’ll see. Happy Fri-YAY! I’m so excited for this upcoming weekend — all the fun plans! We’re off to a Halloween party tonight to dance it up. My costume is going to be super fun. Hi there! I was going to start this post with… “man, isn’t this month just flying?” But then I’d be a total broken record, and I can admit that, even though it IS flying! But yeah, we got out and took these photos before the colors really took a turn, so it’s funny that it’s just a small hint of color here… where right now outside it’s full peak color! It’s definitely my goal to get out and take more photos this week and weekend while it’s so perfect outside. But yeah, I threw this outfit together quickly, and ended up liking how it turned out! Halfway through October already? Why does this month always go so fast… and then March just drags and drags and drags? It’s so unfair. 😂 But I’m trying to hang onto every moment of October and working to knock out all of my autumn bucket list items! Thankfully autumn lasts pretty far into November here (unless we’re blasted with a snowstorm, which isn’t unlikely), but October is just the best for peak color + spooky vibes + those golden warm days. Eric and I headed out to West Olive last week to celebrate our anniversary, pick up our pumpkins for the year, and to go to dinner at one of our favorite places in the town where we got married, so that was a perfect autumn date night!

Onto the best season… of apple orchards, cider mills, cozy sweaters and of course, comfortable and casual boots for the colder seasons ahead! I’m always excited to switch over my sandals for a pair of ankle boots when autumn hits! Eric and I are both styling some options from Blundstone USA – a company established in Tasmania. They have boots that are rugged and iconic enough that work for a hike on a trail or on a rainy street when you’re walking downtown. We wore ours out to one of our favorite apple orchards to take part in some autumn fun! 🍎
