Read MoreAn easy weeknight adventure in Marquette was out to Wright Street Falls! It’s super close to town, and honestly… I was cracking up, because 1.5 miles after I left here, I was at a Target. Like… waterfalls and Target? Perfect. 🤣 This one is also easy to park and walk a very short distance over to the waterfall, and the entire loop/trail is beautiful. Definitely worth a visit.

Thankfully Travel Marquette has an awesome one… and it inspired this historic walking tour around the city! Plus, I love history and learning about towns — especially smaller towns with unique stories. So this night was right up my alley!
Read MoreEspecially during autumn, you have to check out CR-510 Bridge or Dead River Bridge Overlook. It’s absolutely stunning. You can drive down the road and park at a little lot at the end of the street. This bridge is of historical significance because there’s only one other similar structure in Michigan. Go and visit!
Read MoreHello from Black Rocks! This is one of my favorite spots in Marquette. It’s located in the Presque Isle State Park, which is a large peninsula just north of town. Black Rocks is a “Marquette staple” — the spot where you see most pictures of people jumping off the 10-15 foot cliffs. If you’re visiting the area, this is a must-visit, no matter the season!
