An easy weeknight adventure in Marquette was out to Wright Street Falls! It’s super close to town, and honestly… I was cracking up, because 1.5 miles after I left here, I was at a Target. Like… waterfalls and Target? Perfect. 🤣 This one is also easy to park and walk a very short distance over to the waterfall, and the entire loop/trail is beautiful. Definitely worth a visit.

Thankfully Travel Marquette has an awesome one… and it inspired this historic walking tour around the city! Plus, I love history and learning about towns — especially smaller towns with unique stories. So this night was right up my alley!

You can drive down the road and park at a little lot at the end of the street. This bridge is of historical significance because there’s only one other similar structure in Michigan. Go and visit!

Black Rocks is a “Marquette staple” — the spot where you see most pictures of people jumping off the 10-15 foot cliffs. If you’re visiting the area, this is a must-visit, no matter the season!
Read MoreI was so excited when I found out you can pretty much walk out to the Presque Isle Harbor Breakwater Light along the breakwater on a very easy to navigate path, until you hit the breakwater rocks. Those are bit more tricky, and I attempted to scale a few, but it was interesting in these sandals. So I waited, but I’ll def be back out here at some point in sneaks scaling this breakwater to reach the lighthouse.
