Lately, I’ve been enjoying a mix of autumn adventures and cozy moments. I went to Harlow Lake, a favorite spot for early fall colors, while wearing a soft new cardigan and wide-leg jeans. I also joined the community for Plaidurday at South Beach, and embraced the fall crisp air this weekend. Between baking cookies, catching sunsets, and sipping Witches Brew, October has felt like the perfect balance of fun and relaxation. This season is all about finding that cozy yet stylish vibe, and I’m embracing every bit of it!

October hits… and so does my collection of burnt orange sweaters. 😆 And it’s finally feeling like more autumn weather here in the Upper Peninsula, although, our fall colors are quite behind schedule! But it was nice to transition a bit from summer to fall this week. Just a quick one today, with a sort of “old-school” Tieka outfit post. Still rocking the polka dot tights, however many years later!

It was nice on this night actually… I finished a full work day, worked on the program for Fresh Coast Film Festival, ate dinner at home, worked on my 15th blogiverary post, walked around the neighborhood quick, shot a few photos by Thill’s Fish House, went home, and still had time to… start a new show and catch up with some friends. A pretty OK solo evening.

It’s one of the few operational lighthouses that offer a bed and breakfast, and such a perk it’s so close to Marquette, only 24 miles northwest in the town of Big Bay, Michigan. It’s perched on top of a tall bluff over a rocky point, with picturesque views.

The Front Range Light is set back a bit on Water Street, sort of in an industrial area, and is normally open for tours/a little gift shop. The Crib Light & Pier Light are located in Turner Park. I loved the Crib Light most… it’s just a cute little lighthouse before you take a walk on the pier!
