I brought my jean jacket along with this outfit, but this top would be so cute under a chunky cardigan come fall too.

Tracks along Seward

I had to take photos here on the railroad tracks, because it’s the end of a pretty meaningful phase for me, of time I’ve spent on the west side. Railroad tracks symbolizes a journey in life, and it’s kind of funny they’re a symbol in mine, of places I’ve lived that meant a lot to me for different reasons. It’s the end of one chapter, and the beginning of the next.

Pizza flight night

This was just a very spontaneous night out for a pizza flight and drinks at The Mitten Brewing Co. Mitten has an amazing "pizza flight” where you can choose up to 6 different pizzas. And they’re all SO GOOD. My favorites are Curse of the Goat and Hog Heaven. They also have a red-wine sangria which is a life-saver. Definitely recommend if you’re on the west side!

Summer weekend in Marquette

Here’s my full post from our amazing ladies summer weekend in Marquette, Michigan! This was a quick trip… we headed up on Friday from Grand Rapids (about a 6.5 hour drive) and got there to spend Friday night, Saturday all day, and Sunday before heading back home. So this is our ~2 day itinerary of all the places we visited, ate, and drank at! It was the best weekend.
