Here’s a fun weekend in Ironwood… including waterfalls, scenic overlooks, along with some great places to eat and drink, a unique stay at a cabin village, and a trip to the Black River Harbor Pavilion where I wanted to check out the very picturesque suspension bridge!

Read MoreThirteen consecutive years at the tulip fields… and this is the first time visiting during sunrise! I was a little bummed because I was maybe a week early… the fences were still up to keep the deer out, the fields weren’t 100% in bloom yet, but it was still beautiful and it was lovely to see the fields in a whole new light.

I headed to a go-to spot I visit for golden hour often — Clark Lambros. It’s a wonderful beach/park right on Lake Superior and perfect for freighter watching.
